The best way to visit Agiofili beach is by taxi boat from Vasiliki, around 10 minutes route.
When on holiday with one of our sailing yachts, don’t forget to stop for a swim on this beautiful beach before you moor to Vasiliki port.
Kathisma is a long beach in the North-West part of Lefkada island, and it’s easy to reach it by car. There is plenty of parking space free or paid, so many people visit it during the summer months. The beach is very well organised with nice restaurants and bars along the seafront.
Kathisma impresses with the turquoise colour of the water, which might seem slightly cooler compared to other beaches on the east side of the island.
Milos is one of the most beautiful, clean and quiet beaches of Lefkada. It is found northwestern of Agios Nikitas, with a length of 730 m and a width of 80 m. Milos is very popular, and its visitors come mainly from Agios Nikitas. There is no road for cars, and the only way visitors can reach it is by walking a path or by boat. If you have chartered one of our sailing yachts and you’re coming back from Paxos, you can stop at this beautiful beach for swimming.
The beach has both shingles and sand and catches the sun all day long, perfect if you want to spend the day sunbathing. There are no facilities here, so you will have to make sure you bring any food and drink that you will need with you.
2. Porto Katsiki
Porto Katsiki is one of the most famous beaches on Lefkada island. Porto Katsiki is unique for the strange shape and formation of its coast. An amazing white-sand beach hidden right below the steep slopes comes to the visitor’s surprise as they descend the steps to reach the shore.
Porto Katsiki is accessible by car. There are more than 300 steps you should climb down, but the landscape will reward you! Small boats that tour around the island’s most popular beaches always have a long stop here. You can very well use this way of access instead of driving and descending the stairs.
Various rock formations divide the beach into smaller parts. Still, despite its small size, Porto Katsiki is usually packed with people during the summer months.
Porto Katsiki is a magnificent natural attraction of Lefkada and among the ten best beaches in Greece and the Mediterranean. The name is said to be because formerly only goats could reach this area (Katsiki means “Goat” in the Greek language).
Porto Katsiki’ beach is one of the most idyllic landscapes in the world, so that explains why yachters from all over the world find this region an interesting destination for their sailing vacation.
Turquoise waters, white sandy beaches, seaside rock formations, and cliffs make up this paradise that resembles the Caribbean in western Greece.
This amazing beach is an exotic and unforgettable setting. It is stretched over nearly two kilometres, which explains why it represents a good choice even during the busier, peak-season summer days. The beach’s immense size secures spacious and comfortable conditions for visitors even when people have turned up in numbers.
Egkremni beach is accessible by car. There are too many steps you should climb down and up that we suggest visiting it by the sea.
