Kindly make sure that you have sent the following documents 20 days before embarkation. We are doing our best to prepare everything for check-in as smoothly as possible to avoid delays.
Primary contact details, address, mobile number, and passport information of the main charterer.
Full names, dates of birth, passport numbers, and nationalities of all crew members traveling aboard.
Flight numbers, estimated arrival time at Aktio (PVK) airport, and taxi transfer requests.
Any extra should be requested at least 20 days before embarkation.
Before you check-in, you will be handing over at SAIL2DAY welcome desk the documents required for check in and we will take care of formalities such as signing required documents, handing the yacht's formal documentation & concluding any pending payments (i.e. security deposit & any extras).
As stated in terms and conditions, please note that security deposit has to be paid by Credit card (Visa or Mastercard only).
All extras are paid at the base before embarkation.
You will be provided with an inventory list so you may check and confirm inventory delivered with the yacht. Our staff will demonstrate to you, all basic functional and operational features of the yacht and her equipment.
Yacht should be returned to base, a day before the end of the charter period, latest by 16:30.
The fuel truck is coming to our base to refill the fuel tank of the yachts every Friday afternoon. For more information, please ask the Base Manager.
During check out, you are kindly asked to allow our staff to come aboard and inspect the yacht and the equipment. The inspection is detailed as we need to make sure that the yacht is in perfect condition for the next client chartering after you. After every charter, the yacht is also inspected underwater by diver to avoid any inconvenience.
Ionian islands area is famous for its calm sailing conditions, ideal for relaxing holidays between the beautiful green islands. Winds tend to be lighter from the northwest in the spring and stronger from the north or northwest in the hot summer months.
Please only take soft bags and not suitcases as they would be too cumbersome onboard. Baggage storage is possible at our base at an extra cost.
Standard charter embarkation starts after 18:00 on Saturday. Yacht return to base is required by 16:30 on Friday evening (with overnight stay onboard until 09:00 AM Saturday check-out).
You can pre-order your groceries online before arrival. Our team will deliver and stock your supplies directly into your yacht's galley and fridge prior to check-in.
Soft-sided duffel bags are essential (hard suitcases are difficult to store aboard). Pack light swimwear, high-SPF sunscreen, deck-friendly shoes, non-marking soles, and a light windbreaker for evenings.
Yes, a standard refundable security deposit (or non-refundable deposit insurance option) is collected during check-in to cover potential damage or equipment loss during the charter.
